Turn
Turn him from the rubber plastic pacing
Away from white coated snakes with master’s degrees
Away from side sending pinpoint punctures and steels rods in finger tips.
Twist
Twist the view of a child stained in place, in scratchy sheets and brittle skin
Bend the world to the sideline streams of color and nonsensical movement
Break him into the gentle night with Barney and Rangers and shamming vegetable tales.
Tighten
Tighten your grip on him so that we doesn’t look at the fair
Census takers adding his name to another list of the fair where freaks pay their managers
Complete in procedure of course to keep them living in angel kissed street havens of filth.
Technicolor!
Technicolor everyone Technicolor!
Distractions now in Technicolor so roll up and see the attractive boy bleached by insulin
Deadened amusement in Technicolor and television ratings rating the quality of his life.
